Learn About Dr. Martin

Dr. Victoria Martin, M.D. has been in private practice in the Dallas/Fort Worth area since 1989. She has also been co-founder and vice president of Southwest Child and Family Associates; Medical Director of the Excel Center; Medical Director of New Day Hospital; Psychiatric Consultant for Dallas County Mental Health/Mental Retardation, Highland Park Presbyterian Church and Our Friend's Place.

She has lectured extensively at seminars and other events in the area and been a featured guest many times on local radio stations. Also, several of her articles have appeared in international publications such as World News and Focus on the Family.

Dr. Martin is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry, which puts her in the top-tier of her field. She earned her doctorate from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington; and is a graduate of Lake Highlands High School.

 

Personal Attention

Dr. Victoria Martin’s main focus is on psychiatric evaluations and pharmacological treatment. She is considered one of the best clinicians in the area when it comes to diagnosing and medication management. We know you would feel comfortable with Dr. Martin. Helping Families

It’s no wonder why so many of Dr. Victoria Martin’s patients refer their friends and family. She believes in family-first and has six children, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her youngest son, John, is the office manager and has helped run her practice since 2008. She loves animals and constantly spoils her furry kids, two rescued boxers: Katie and Ellie. Dr. Martin loves to travel, read, watch action-adventure movies and plays a computer game called "Civilization".
